Rioja Government, Valdezcaray S.A., The Spanish Federation of winter sports, The Rioja Federation of winter Sports, hotels and clubsare up to the challenge of an event of such importance for our regionand will guarantee its success.

For three days, between January 26th and 28nd 2009, the skiers, their companions and the media will be welcomed in one on the most prominent wine production regions worldly.

The village of Ezcaray will be the ideal background for this event that will push the advance of Telemark as a sport further. Spain joins the group of countries that organize World championships with the aim of raising Telemark to the category of Olimpic Sport in the coming future.
